The Story

On the moring of Friday 9/12/14, Amy texted Mark to check on him after he left for work because he had complained of having a severe headache.  Amy immediately received a phone call back, no one wants to receive... She answered the phone to hear an Emergency Room physician on the other end informing her that  Mark had collasped in a store. She said Mark had been resuscitated and  on a ventilator at the hospital. When Amy got there, she was told he had  a massive subarachnoid hemmorhage (head bleed) and that there was "nothing they could do".... She was told he was "brain dead".  The news was absolutely devastating....

Two days later, On September 14, 2014...God called  his angel, Mark Keegan to heaven...way too soon.  He was surrounded by his loving wife,  3 children, and his entire family when God called him to heaven.

Mark was one of those people who, when you met him, he made an imprint on your heart because of his genuine kindness & vivacious spirit. He was the best father, husband, friend & co-worker. He loved life- always taking every advantage to have adventures with his family, and do good deeds for others. His smile & spirit were infectous. You'd never catch Mark in the corner at a party- he'd be on the dance floor making others smile.
The world is going to miss you, Mark. You were truly one of a kind, and the world was better with you in it. Heaven gained a special angel in you. May God hold Amy, Riley, Owen & Hattie close to his heart. As well as the rest of his loving family. May they feel Mark's presence everyday & know he is with them and watching over them always. Rest in peace, Mark. You will never be forgotten.

We created this fund to help the Keegan family through this trying time. Your donations will go to the kids college funds, and to help Amy finish the projects Mark had started on their new  home. Please spead the word and  remember, no gift is too small.

Thank you so much for your continued support and generosity.

God Bless

6 Months TODAY!  Can not believe 6 months today Mark Keegan became our ANGEL. So many "firsts" that the Keegan's are still experiencing.  Not only with out their loving daddy and husband , but living in what Mark considered his dream home.  The first winter in their home discovering the costs and maintanence needed to keep it going...and sometimes struggling on how they can keep a sense of normalcy while only living on one income now.  Amy remains an unbelievable role model to Riley, Owen and Hattie. Her love and strength for them is amazing.  The kids are doing ok. Amy keeps them busy as much as she can. Riley is in Girl Scouts, Owen is playing indoor soccer...they both are enjoying this. Hattie is now in three full days at preschool and Riley and Owen have joined her as they are now in aftercare on the three days Amy has to work.  Another first for them.  Amy is now trying to find activities for the summer that don't cost a fortune. Life continues to go on in the Keegan house... Having good days and bad days but their strength is amazing. Continued prayers are requested.  Amy is so very thankful to everyone and she really wants to bring awareness to the signs and symptoms of Brain Aneurysms. Hoping she can help someone else from a tragedy like her family has gone through...
PLEASE continue to share the Keegan Kids fund.....god bless all of you !

Christmas is coming...
Amy has been amazing and I can not get over how she has managed thru this most difficult time in her life.
She had a rough week and almost 3 months of held in emotions poured out of her.  Although I was not with her when this happened, she got thru it. She continues to amaze me everyday of her strength of keeping her family together.
Please continue to pray for them...
Continue to share the link...thank you!
