On the moring of Friday 9/12/14, Amy texted Mark to check on him after he left for work because he had complained of having a severe headache. Amy immediately received a phone call back, no one wants to receive... She answered the phone to hear an Emergency Room physician on the other end informing her that Mark had collasped in a store. She said Mark had been resuscitated and on a ventilator at the hospital. When Amy got there, she was told he had a massive subarachnoid hemmorhage (head bleed) and that there was "nothing they could do".... She was told he was "brain dead". The news was absolutely devastating....
Two days later, On September 14, 2014...God called his angel, Mark Keegan to heaven...way too soon. He was surrounded by his loving wife, 3 children, and his entire family when God called him to heaven.
Mark was one of those people who, when you met him, he made an imprint on your heart because of his genuine kindness & vivacious spirit. He was the best father, husband, friend & co-worker. He loved life- always taking every advantage to have adventures with his family, and do good deeds for others. His smile & spirit were infectous. You'd never catch Mark in the corner at a party- he'd be on the dance floor making others smile.
The world is going to miss you, Mark. You were truly one of a kind, and the world was better with you in it. Heaven gained a special angel in you. May God hold Amy, Riley, Owen & Hattie close to his heart. As well as the rest of his loving family. May they feel Mark's presence everyday & know he is with them and watching over them always. Rest in peace, Mark. You will never be forgotten.
We created this fund to help the Keegan family through this trying time. Your donations will go to the kids college funds, and to help Amy finish the projects Mark had started on their new home. Please spead the word and remember, no gift is too small.
Thank you so much for your continued support and generosity.
