The Story

Gama Droiville sustained a gun shot woung to his head after a gunman opened fired on a Brooklyn street.  Gama underwent emergency surgery and spent over a week in the hospital.  Gama has been released from the hospital, but has unfortunately been left with a life altering injury, the loss of use of his right eye.  Gama has displayed tremendous courage during this ordeal and has inspired many with his calm demeanor, which he credits to his unwaivering faith in the Lord.  Gama hopes to tell his story and use this horrific event to help get guns off of the streets so that such a senseless act of violence does not bring injury to anyone else.

While Gama is recovering, we ask that you donate and help aid in his rehabilitation and education.
