The Story

Tracey Spencer Delvecchio was diagnosed with Stage III Melanoma in September 2011. After undergoing a full year of chemotherapy and appearing to be in remission, the cancer metastasized to her brain. Tracey has undergone; two brain surgeries, subsequent chemotherapy as well as several different types of radiation treatments. As a result of all of this, Tracey has been unable to return to her long career with the Stewart's Corporation. Tracey’s husband John has been on Family Medical Leave from the Ball Corporation for many months caring for her as she now needs 24 hour care. While his employers have been wonderful, this leave is about to expire and will soon cause even greater financial hardship for The Delvecchios. John is one of the most selfless people you’ll ever meet. His constant care and love for Tracey is unparalleled. We, her friends and family would like to help John continue as Tracey’s primary caregiver but we can’t do that alone. We are asking for your monetary donations which will enable John to continue being the best possible caregiver for Tracey. Won’t you consider being a part of this wonderful and priceless gift? As always, we graciously accept donations of any amount - your continued generosity has been overwhelming! We thank you for your continued support on behalf of Tracey and her family! God bless each and every one of you and have The Merriest Christmas!!

Fundraiser Updates

Posted on December 26, 2014 by Katie Bolibaugh, Nancy Burke and Mark Pierre
Today is her birthday! Today’s the day we marked to meet our goal – and we did it!!!! We can’t thank you enough for your generous support! It’s with the greatest sadness that this update brings the news that Tracey lost her battle with Cancer on Monday, December 22nd, 2014. Tracey lived and died with the greatest dignity and a kindness that we all aspire to achieve. It was her generosity of spirit, we believe that inspired so many to give so selflessly and so generously. While our sadness is still very real and very raw, we would be remiss if we didn’t thank each and every one of you for your remarkable and generous support of Tracey and her family. On behalf of the Delvecchio and Spencer families and all their friends, we thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for making the dream of meeting this goal a reality and instilling in each of us, a true sense of the goodness in humanity and realizing for us, the true meaning of the phrase; Strength in Numbers. God Bless and keep you all.
