Some things just grip your heart. You give a candy to a child from a poor African township, and not knowing what to do with it he starts playing with it. You show him that he should put it in his mouth, he hesitates for a moment but follows you. And then you see how his face lights up with a mix of a sincere surprise and pleasure. ...He has never tried a candy before.
These kids from Mpumalanga province, South Africa live in unsanitary conditions, lacking water and electricity. Their places of living are constructed out of wooden crates, cardboard boxes and pieces of metal. You can hardly call them houses. People living in this township are considered to be the poorest segment of South Africa and yet they are thankful for what they have. On the streets there are kids roaming around on their own, many of them are orphans whose parents died because of AIDS.
We want to gather 100 of these kids (or maybe even more) to a local mission “Аdullam” where we will make a camp for them full of games and lessons. We will feed them, clothe them, and tell them about the Source of our passion.
Will you please join our effort and help us fund this camp?
All donations will be used in covering the camp expenses. Plane tickets, visas and insurance expenses will be covered by the volunteers themselves. For more information follow us on facebook at “To the End of the World”.
