The Story

Homeward Bound, is my 3000 mile Trans-Atlantic solo row on behalf of Oceana, the largest international advocacy organization in the world focused solely on ocean conservation. Their mission is to make Oceans as rich, healthy, and abundant as they once were to not only save critically endangered species but to sustainably feed millions of people all over the world. They approach this goal by working with governments and policy experts around the world to enact legislation that protects and conserves our Oceans for future generations. My Trans-Atlantic row will span 2-3 months during which I will endure sleep deprivation, tropical storms with 40+ ft waves and loneliness--challenges that pale in comparison to coastal communities whose livelihoods are being destroyed by ocean pollution and climate change. If successful in this journey, I will be the youngest person in history to row alone across any ocean.
