In years past, I have spent many hours each week for months leading up to Rachel's Race soliciting donations to cover the costs associated with hosting the event.
This year, I promised my family I would remain available for them and not be preoccupied with the race. The way I am doing that is by foregoing pre-race fundraising, which keeps me out of the house in businesses or locked in my bathroom on the phone.
I planned to rely solely on race day income for proceeds, however there are many things that need to be paid as the race approaches and I reserve their services - and the race day proceeds are not much over the cost of the event itself. And this type of fundraising is something i can do with my kids at my feet. They even brainstormed the title to this page with me!

It costs over $3500 to pay for all services, supplies and rentals required for Rachel's Race to be held in downtown Dover each August. Anything you can give to help would be so appreciated!!
