SUPPORT NAICCO & OHIO'S AMERICAN INDIAN & ALASKA NATIVE YOUTH, FAMILIES & COMMUNITY...
WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP
To ensure that the Native American Indian Center of Central Ohio (NAICCO) can continue its commitment to fighting the good fight, there must be a strong sense of sustainability in place. Meaning, to continue doing our good work, NAICCO needs to be able to provide the security of a home for our American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) people in Ohio. With that said, we here at NAICCO have launched this fundraiser* in effort to pay off the NAICCO property mortgage. To achieve this goal, NAICCO is seeking to RAISE $25,000 BY THE END OF 2015!

WHAT WE ARE DOING
At the Native American Indian Center of Central Ohio (NAICCO) we pride ourselves in not only what we do for our American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) community members, but as well, what we do with/for our neighboring communities and non-AI/AN allies. The work being done today at NAICCO focuses on the following:
- Providing cultural programs for our American Indian and Alaska Native youth, families and community;
- Providing health and wellness services for our American Indian and Alaska Native youth, families and community; and
- Celebrating our culture and history with our fellow Ohioans
TODAY'S STATE OF AFFAIRS
Because our AI/AN people are often deemed invisible in Ohio, there remains little to no attention or funding available to meet our families’ and community’s holistic needs and concerns. And though there are more than 90,000 of us (AIs/ANs) in Ohio today, there still remains no identifiable infrastructure in place within this state; that which would offer culturally competent services and programming specific to our AI/AN people. Though this reality is one that has been in existence for generations now, it does not deter us from our mission work at NAICCO. Instead, it grounds us in our cause and gives us the needed strength to continue going forward with our steadfast-grassroots efforts; thus to provide culturally meaningful services and programs for our American Indian and Alaska Native people.
