We are writing to you today, on a very personal note, as this something very close to our hearts and our Indiana family as well. Over the past three months we've have had the honor of being part of the Indiana 7thGrade All-State Football Program, a remarkable organization with some amazing kids, coaches and families!!
And when we say AMAZING, we mean just that. We have 23 of the most giving, caring, smart and respectable young men and 4 of the most admirable coaches we have ever seen in the 7 years our sons have been playing football. They’ve faced so many obstacles in the last 3 months--from doubt, rejection, and non-belief, you would think these boys would have given up or been discouraged; but, they never gave in, never gave up, never stopped believing and never stopped playing with heart. As part of a program with 3 levels (6th, 7thand 8thgrade teams), it seemed as if our 7thgrade boys were always a little late and a little left behind when it came to the details -- so much so the parents have coined them Indiana's newest "Bad News Bears".
If we could, we would waste your entire afternoon telling you about these boys, their families and the uniqueness of each, but we know you guys are busy so we will just get to it.
The 7thGrade Indiana All State Team is headed to San Antonio December 29ththrough January 5thfor the Semi-Final Round and FINAL Round of the quest for the 7thgrade National Championship (yes we're anticipating a big win by our boys in the first round) and we are in dire need of sponsors to help cover travel costs (airfare and hotel) and food expenses. We’ve come such a long way from where we started this road, with 64-7thgrade teams, to where we are now , part of the Final 4 and we don't want to stop here. We started the road to the National Championship with 23 young men and we’d like to be sure ALL 23 are there to fight in the last 2 rounds and bring home the title together.
We know it is the holidays and we know you all already do so much but we’ve always been told the worst someone can tell us is no, so we're taking a chance you might be one of those yes. If you would just take a minute to look at the program, our request, our accomplishments and some of our photos and consider making a donation for sponsorship we would be most appreciative. Even if you just have a dollar or two to spare, no amount is too little and every dollar helps. All donations to the Team Indiana Organization are 100% tax deductible.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration!!!!
