The mission of Gate City Community Gardens is to foster social engagement, public wellness, safer neighborhoods, and environmental stewardship in the city of Nashua through community gardening and educational programming.
Help us raise the "Seed Money" that is needed to build our very first community garden project! The location has yet to be finalized, but we aim to break ground by May 4th, 2013 and will update this page once we have secured a garden site.
Our "Seed Money" campaign will go through April 26th 2013 and our goal is to raise $3000 with a stretch goal of $5000. This money will be used to purchase supplies such as lumber for raised beds, soil for planting, mulch for around beds, materials for fenching, a tool shed, water access, ornamental plants, and any other needs for the community garden build out.
We recognize that there is a great demand for increased access to community garden sites in the downtown area and with your help we hope to work toward meeting that need with our very first garden.
