The Story

To all the families who have suffered a loss of an infant, myself as well as others will be sewing Angel gowns from donated wedding dresses. These angel gowns will be going to NICU wards in Ontario and hopefully one day across the country. I'm doing this in memory of my Twin Boys *Liam and Nathan* who were born too early at only 22 weeks gestation. They were born a week apart but are in heaven now together. I'm also doing this for my 3 year old son Brandon who was born at 32 weeks and spent almost a month in the NICU but is now thriving. Thank you to all who have already donated time, money and your beautiful gowns. Thank you to all who have given me your blessings and kind words and have shared some of yourselves too. I wish this was around when my twins became angels and had nothing small enough to wear. Thank you again in keeping this project going.

Note this is a non profit event and your financial help is not tax deductible.

Hi, you can now see Sherie tell her story on show Let's Talk Mom on RogersTV.com or at this link http://www.rogerstv.com/show?lid=12&rid=28&sid=7462
If you don't see it, click on the link on top where it says City name to Richmond Hill or Brampton. You can also search it under Shows on the lines drop down menu. It is a very touching episode on Infant Loss as told by all the guest that were there, hosted by the compassionate Jenny DiPietro.

Thank you for your generosity so far with your time, money and supplies and especially to those who have parted with their wedding gowns to donate them to this important cause that is often overlooked, infant loss. Parents are already in shock and grieving and we have found a way to make their journey just a little easier. We do not sell these beautiful creations nor do the hospitals. They are donated freely to the parents. We only ask for some help with buying the sewing notions, packaging and mailing of the gowns and supplies to seamstresses and hospitals in various locations. Thank you again.

Thank you everyone who has already donated. Your help goes towards buying the many items needed which go into making the Angel Gowns and making them look perfect to put on little Angels who won't be going home to their families.
