The Story

The mission of the Ed Wiley Autism Acceptance Library is to promote understanding, acceptance and inclusion for Autistic people. Our organization is dedicated to the ideas of neurodiversity, social justice, Autistic/Disabled Pride and disability rights. The lending materials we offer will reflect the wide and diverse spectrum of autism and intersectional identities. We are working toward building an inclusive community and providing relevant resources and information for Autistic people, our families, friends and allies.

We just did a huge order of printable resources for some upcoming events the library is participating in.  We will now have copies of "What is Autism?, in Plain Language by Dani Alexis Ryskamp autisticacademic.com in addition to the other writings of #actuallyautsitic adults that are available at the library!

We are looking for more donations to purchase several upcoming books from Autonomous Press, more books of poetry and fiction by autistic and other disabled adults, films and possibly an event tent that we can use at festivals and outdoor events to bring resources and information on autism acceptance and neurodiversity to our community!
If you can donate or share our fundraiser,  it is greatly appreciated!

We are a small community organization and every cent that is donated to us and every share of this fundraiser counts!  Thank you!

Exciting News from the library!  We have launched a website! : neurodiversitylibrary.org

We are also working with Autism Women's Network to do another April film event for Autism Acceptance Month!  Mark your calendars for April 23rd at the Stanwood-Camano Community Resource Center.  More information to come very soon!

We are always accepting donations to support our work. 100% of what we raise goes back into the library to educate the community about autism acceptance, neurodiversity & disability rights!
