Anyone who has met Netasha has been graced with her beautiful smile and infectious laugh. She is a sweet, wonderful, amazing person who is going through a really tough time right now.
Recently, Netasha underwent a procedure to treat pre-cancer in her colon. The procedure went well, and within a few days she was home.
Then suddenly, she woke up in terrible pain and was unable to walk. Upon returning to the hospital, she learned both legs were full of blood clots. Pain medication didn't ease her suffering. She was denied another procedure to clear the blood clots. Instead, she has had to muster through, allowing them to clear on their own.
To top it all off, she met with her oncologist today to find out that it was not, in fact, pre-cancer. She is suffering from stage 3 colon cancer. She will be undergoing chemotherapy and will be unable to have any visitors for at least 6 months to avoid any exposure to germs that would wreck her weakend system.
During all of this, she has been unable to work, and will be on extended leave until she is in the clear. Hospital stays and cancer diagnoses are financially crippling, and Netasha deserves all the help she can get.
Please help in any way you can to put that beautiful smile back on Netasha's face.
