Donations save lives! FORTY plus dogs are relying on the generosity of the community to save and change their lives forever
Mountain Girl Transport Rescue is a community of volunteers, fosters, sponsors and donors that work together to save the lives of hundreds of dogs in Arizona.
Through transport rescue, dogs in high risk settings are decompressed in loving foster homes and then transported to preapproved foster to adopt homes in the Pacific Northwest. Together with our sister rescue, PB&Chi, these dogs will never again be abandoned, alone, abused or neglected. For many of them, it is the first time they will ever know love.
Transport rescue saves two lives-
it saves the dog on the transport and it keeps a home open here locally for another rescue dog to fill.
There are more dogs than good homes in our community, it is a sad reality. Transport is one solution to the overpopulation problem.
Mountain Girl follows the ASPCA guidelines for best practice in animal relocation and transport.
This rescue does not collect adoption fees for the dogs that are transported and relies on sponsors and donors to pay for adoption fees, vetting, health certificates to cross state lines, van rental, and gas.
We do this because we care. We do this to save and change lives!
If you would like to be a part of saving lives and helping the overpopulation of dogs in this community, please donate to the February transport.
Sponsors are needed to buy a seat on the Rescue Van from Arizona to Washington state.
Donations are needed to pay for adoption fees, vetting, health certificates.
Every donation matters. Every donation helps to save a life.
Please follow us on Facebook Mountain Girl Rescue page and see how lives are changed through the love of many working together.
