The Story

Let’s raise some cash and raise Mordecai’s visibility!

For 25 years, the two main entrances to the Mordecai Community near downtown Raleigh have been marked by simple wooden signs.  These signs are somewhat difficult to see and are reaching the end of their lifespan.  The Mordecai CAC recently voted to raise money to replace the existing signs with eye-catching metal structures enclosed in beautiful cedar frames. (pictured left)

The cost of the signs is $6,300, and an anonymous donor has already pledged $3,300!  Your help is needed to raise the remaining $3,000.  No gift is too small . . . or too large! Just $10 each from 300 neighbors will cover it! To make a contribution please donate here. The funds will be deposited into the Mordecai Community Fund bank account which is managed by Joe Layton. All money will go towards our new community signs.

Thanks for your help in making our neighborhood even more visible and showing the pride we feel in this great community!
