Imagine coming home after a days long mandatory evacuation due to the Blue Cut Fire, only to find that your home, barn, stables, or stalls have either been seriously damaged-or burned to the ground. What would you do? Where would you start? And, how would you provide care for your pets?
That's where Mojave Desert Animal Rescue comes in. MDAR is raising funds to provide post-fire support for victims of the Blue Cut fire who have nowhere else to turn in regards to animal care
. We cannot begin to do this without YOUR support!
The funds we raise will help to pay for dog crates, small kennels, food, bowls, feeders, buckets, hoses, post disaster veterinary care (animals have been burned in the fire) large animal feed, and will also supply needed items to local residents who have been kind enough to offer their homes to temporarily foster one or more animals.
- 96 Single Family homes have been completely destroyed.
- 3 Seriously damaged Single Family homes
- Over 200 Outbuildings have been lost. (number of damaged properties is at least double this figure)

Together, we can make a huge difference for the animals (and their families) affected by the Blue Cut Fire.
