To have positive impact on the people in Nepal who have been affected by the 2015 earthquakes. We will rebuild a school and support other projects as possible within the community.
The relief efforts in Nepal have been substantial, except in very remote areas. The village of Sengma is located near Mount Everest and only accessible by foot.
The Shree Janasewal Primary School in Sengma was completely destroyed, leaving nearly 200 Nepali kids to learn in tents with little protection from harsh weather conditions. Additionally, the hydro plant in was also destroyed. These same kids go home to no heat and no electricity.
Our goal is to raise funds to rebuild both the school and the hydro plant by the 1 year anniversary of the earthquake.
