The Story

*This fundraiser will be directly for Taylor’s wife, two little boys, and his unborn daughter he leaves behind*

*Please see updates for more recent info following his passing and photos*

After undergoing his 7th heart surgery at just 26 years old, my brother, Taylor suffered a heart attack followed immediately by a massive stroke. Taylor was then rushed into an emergency brain surgery in attempts to save his life. He made it through however the damage to his brain was already too extensive for recovery. Taylor was declared officially brain dead and went to be with Jesus on Thursday December 1, 2017. His body is now being kept pumping in order for organ donation so that he might bless someone else and save a life. We will be finishing that process today and his body will be being taken off the ventilator tomorrow.

He leaves behind his two boys Logan (5) & Braxton (3) as well as his wife who is pregnant with their beautiful daughter, Sofia whom Taylor so badly wanted. As well as his Parents, siblings, family, and friends. Miranda, his wife is a stay at home mom to their kids and Taylor was the sole provider. One of his main goals in life was to make sure he worked hard to ensure his kids and wife were being provided for. We have set this up in hopes of relieving some of the financial burden that is sure to come for her. From his service, to his expenses from the hospital, and of course to keep their family in their home and bills paid. This loss is beyond devastating to his whole family. We appreciate all of the love and support more than you can know.

On Wednesday December 13, we held Taylor's service, burial, and celebration of life. It was one of the hardest days by far, but also so very beautiful. Watching the boys say goodbye to their daddy one last time was gut wrenching to say the least. Their little minds working so hard to try to process what was happening. We are beyond proud of them and know Taylor would be also. Seeing everyone there who loved Taylor and hearing the good he's done in so many people's lives was inspiring. Miranda wanted to deeply thank everyone from the bottom of her heart for the love and support. The community outreach has been amazing. We also got news last week that Taylor has blessed three people with the gift of his organs, all who had been waiting close to 10 years for transplants! We are so proud of our hero and know he is going on to bless others even in death. Because of everyone's generosity to help along with family we were able to have Taylor's service just as he would have wanted so once again thank you. Your donations will continue to support Miranda and the boys throughout her pregnancy and following baby Sofia's birth allowing her time with her children. We know Taylor is watching over us all and would be so very proud of his family's strength. We know it only gets harder from here so we continue to ask for everyone's prayers for strength and guidance. Thank you all.

Yesterday morning we said goodbye to Taylor‘s body. We know his soul is already in heaven with Jesus. He has told us himself many times already and has been letting us all know he is still with us. It was a beautiful moment as our family walked with the surgeons to the operating room and said our goodbyes. We then prayed together that the organ donations will be successful so that he may live on, blessing someone else with the gift of life. We should find out soon if our prayers worked. We all came home as a family last night together. Its not easy being here without him but we find comfort knowing this was his home. We want to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for all the donations, support, and love. We are truly amazed by you all. We met our first goal for Miranda and the boys in just one day, what a blessing! As we learn more and more about what’s to come for her in the coming weeks and months we hope we can continue to keep making things as easy as possible for her. Once again from the bottom of our hearts THANK YOU, Taylor will rest easy knowing Miranda, the boys, and baby Sofia will be taken care of.
