Posted on January 29, 2017This picture says so much. I have read his books and follow many of his posts in my business life..today, this really applies to my brother's cancer battle. We are intentionally living. Staying on a very strict schedule. Every bite of food is food for life, healing, and wellness. It is intentional. Hours of research, every choice...it has an intent.
So much of our lives are spent on auto-pilot. Then you hear the words, Stage IV cancer, and everything becomes a blur. You re-examine things. You realize who and what is important and find much of the things you have, many of the things you have done before are pretty empty. The people in your life all the sudden matter more than you ever realized they could. You are intentionally living, no matter how tired, how emotional it gets, you must put the hand to the plow and look forward.
Please consider sharing and supporting us. We are 6 weeks in a very long battle. Things are moving forward and we are learning more and more every day. We are deeply grateful for every single message, donation and prayer. #mybrothersbattle

Posted on November 15, 2016With many of the doctors's visits, it's a battle of its own not letting them rob us of hope and feeling defeated as we leave. When I read this today, I was reminded where the focus needs to be.
We should be paying more attention to the exceptional patients, who get well unexpectedly, instead of staring bleakly at all those who die in the usual pattern. In the words of Rene' Dubos, "Sometimes the more measurable drives out the most important." - Bernie B Siegel, M.D.
Please consider supporting My Brother's Battle. Thank you.
