Christian Mor-Ying Yang passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 10:15 AM of a brain aneurysm.
Christian Mor-Ying Yang was born on July 28, 2005 to the parents of Tony Kou Yang and Pricilla Pakou Yang. Christian is known by his families and friends as “Nunu.” Christian is survived by his parents, Tong Kou Yang and Pricilla Pakou Yang; brother, Chancellor Hmong-Zong Yang; sisters, Cassidy Shoua-Yee Yang and Cayley Daub-Chee Yang.
Christian is a child full of life with a positive mindset. He is a leader with the will to help others. Although his time on Earth was short, he left as a fighter and imprinted a lasting memory of laughter, faith, and, love. His dream was to grow up and help children his age. Unfortunately, he left too soon and can’t chase his dreams and goals.
Christian started getting major headaches with fever on and off since July, however the physicians were not able to diagnose his condition. On Friday, October 25th, his grandmother tried to wake him up, but found him unconscious and not breathing.
While Christian was a fighter, his illness would not leave him. Instead of just pulling him off life support, his parents made the decision to donate Christian’s organs, keeping him on life support for two more days. On Sunday, October 27th at 11:00 a.m., Christian saved five lives. He donated his heart valves, two kidneys, livers, and spleen.
He warmed everyone’s hearts with his smile. We pray that Christian has joined Jesus in heaven and that his soul may rest in peace. He is truly an inspiration and a hero.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts,
The Yang Family
