Amiel Wehril Wehrli, Amiel age 11 of Branchville Borough died Tuesday December 17, 2013 at the Morristown Memorial Hospital following a tragic accident. Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, he had lived in Colorado, Illinois and Vernon NJ for 2-1/2 years before moving to Branchville this year. A fifth grade student at the Frankford Township Consolidated Elementary School, Amiel was a member of the Student council and was selected Student of the month for September 2013 as well as a High Honor Roll student. He was a good and kind hearted boy who enjoyed his time with the Vernon Area Webelos and Cub Scouts Troop 287. He was active in the High Point Soccer Club U-11 Travel Team called the “Hurricanes”. Amiel had also been a member of the Vernon Township Soccer Club. Amiel is survived by his loving parents Florian and Noverly C. (Candeloza) Wehrli, his beloved brother Nohlan, as well as his cherished pet dog Muffin. Visitation will be held Saturday December 21, 2013 in the Iliff Ruggiero Funeral Home, 156 Main Street (Rt. 206), Newton, N.J. from 12 to 4PM immediately followed by Funeral Services at 4:00 PM.
I can not even begin to express how incredibly grateful we all are of the overwhelming outpouring of love and support for the Wehrli family. This is such a difficult time for their family and all of your generous donations help them more than you can imagine. A simple thank you doesn't even come close to expressing our gratitude.
