What is SWOB?
SWOB stands for Students WithOut Borders. SWOB is made up of Physician Assistant students who plan on providing healthcare under the supervision of practitioners to a village that has a severe and ongoing lack of access to healthcare.
Last year Clarkson University's SWOB sent a team of 19 students and 6 medical providers to open a clinic in the Dominican Republic to provide medical care to those in need. With the support of friends, family and the community we were able to make the trip a great success! We treated over 300 patients in the one week we were there with a variety of different diagnoses. In addition to medical care, we were able to provide the village with rice, beans, toothbrushes, reading glasses and more.
Please donate and support Clarkson SWOB to make our 3rd annual trip even better!
