Who is Victoria Walhovd?
She is a 23 month old little girl who can't help but smile. She was diagnosed with a Wilms' Tumor, a rare form of childhood kidney cancer, just days before turning 19 months. She had major surgery to remove her tumor and right kidney in February 2013. She has since undergone radiation and is currently undergoing chemotherapy.
Who are we?
The people behind this fundraising campaign are among Victoria's closest friends and family. We have known her since birth and want to see her conquer this cancer and grow. We hope for her to develop into a fine young woman and pay all this generosity forward in her adult years.
You Can Help!
Our goal is to raise $5000 to assist the family with continuing medical costs and related expenses. The family lives more than 35 miles from the hospital and spends a great deal of time and money on that commute.
Please search within your heart and dig deep into your pockets. Victoria & her family are counting on your generosity. ALL of the funds raised will go towards helping Victoria & her family cope with this life changing diagnosis.
