The Story

Our dear friend Jack has been involved in a very serious motorcycle accident this morning in Bali. He is currently in intensive care and is undergoing an operation.

The hospital costs are already huge but we need to get him back to Austraila. Please help in whichever way you can to get Jack into the care he needs. Medivac is currently sitting at around $50,000.

We need 1000 people to donate $50 to get this over the line.

Jack has been brought to stable position but we have around 72 hours to get him to proper care in Australia please help however you can.

Jack is currently living in Bali with his wife and one year old boy Ezekiel.
If you were to ever meet Jack you would remember it. Women buckle at his deep blue eyes, Men just remember him for for his purity and genuineness. Jack has been living and creating a life for himself in Bali now for around three years. Currently the GM at Mint club.

Please be sure to add your email address and name so we can personally thank you afterwards.

PLEASE NOTE All funds will be going to my girlfriend Janina Linich as she was the only one set up with a paypal account to be able to recieve these funds.

Hello everybody!  This is Jack,  somewhat overwhelmed now that I have been able to see this,  but alive and kicking and well on track to making a full(ish!) recovery thanks to all the love and support I have been blessed enough to receive from family, friends and supporters (not forgetting the medical professionals whose care I have been under).  Thank you.  From the bottom of my heart and for my dear wife Hilda and precious kids Neada & Ezekiel.. Thank you, bless you all and thank you again.

Rehab / recovery goes well, slowly but surely.  I can promise you I will never forget the second chance I have been granted, that you all helped to make possible..  I continue pushing forward to a full physical, mental and emotional recovery.  I'll get as close as I can to the old me (sans motorbikes) so it looks like you're all stuck with me for many more years to come! I hope we get the chance to meet or to cross paths again some time.

Thank you all again,  it means so much to me to still be here with those I love,  with a new appreciation that I hope we can share,  to treasure every moment, every ray of sunshine, every blade of grass.  There are too many of you to mention, but I feel I must say a very special big thank you to my true friend, brother-from-another-mother and hero, Sean Doyle, for doing so much and to my wife, Hilda, my dream and inspiration!  But mainly thank you all..  it may take me a while but I do plan to contact you all to convey my gratitude and respect caring enough to play your part in what has, make no mistake, saved my life. Overwhelming, to say the very least.

I am very happy and excited to report that this time tomorrow I will be back in Bali with my wife and our son Ezekiel.  A much hoped for and dreamed of reunion.  I literally feel like I'm shining with hope, excitement and gratitude. Bless you all.. life is GOOD !

JACK IS BACK !! I couldn't quite believe my eyes when i saw this. Up on his feet, smiling (ear to ear). I spoke to Hilda yesterday who said he sounded great and really responsive and witty. He was even speaking Bahasa to his maid !! It really is quite amazing how far he has come in just over a month. We owe that of course to the amazing doctors and nurses, coupled with the technology we have available to us.
I will be using the remaining part of the funds to send a hamper to the intensive care ward for all of them to share our thanks. So if you do want to help in saying thank you to them then please just add to the fund

A really great update from his sister here and a lovely photo with his Mum:

Just update on Jack ! Mum an I arrived yesterday an the improvement in Jack is amazing ! He is able to walk just on one stick an his physo an rehab is going well ! We saw doctor today they are pleased with Jack but stressed on us that this is a vital stage in his recovery of his brain injury He must not have phone calls or to much noise or tv or people around him ! We hope very soon he can return to a Sydney hospital to continue his treatment ! He will need hospital care for a while yet but the main thing is he is recovering ! It's great he can feel himself getting better too !
