Madeleine Bonta was diagnosed with melanoma in early 2012 during her senior year in high school. Madeleine has endured a lot of poking and prodding, scans, surgery, chemo, and radiation with grace and courage. Madeleine and her family made frequent trips to southern California for treatment and she recently had a baseball-sized tumor removed from her liver. She is currently receiving treatment at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, MD, where she was accepted into an adoptive cell therapy (TIL) trial that has worked well for patients with the same kind of cancer as Madeleine.
There are hundreds of people praying for Madeleine, but some of us would like to do more to help this extraordinary young woman battle cancer. The airfare, hotel, and other expenses associated with Madeleine's care are mounting, so we’ve created this site to help lessen that burden for the Bonta family.
We encourage you to visit Madeleine's blog at http://madeleineblogger.blogspot.com/.
