The Story

There are no words to describe the pain and sadness felt by the loss of Angie. A among the list of many things Angie was a wonderful mother, wife, sister, daughter, bff, co-worker, problem solver/creator, rational thinking, crime scene investigating, love sharing, garden greenthumbing, Chipotle loving, Lollapolooza'ing, world traveling, attitude smashing, fast walking, house remodeling, Harley Davidson loving, dog rescuing, family fixing, husband training, deal shopping, chocolate loving, shoe collecting, skinny dipping, tequila loving, book reading, educated, badonka dunk having, fun loving beauty.
And those eyes...
Angie was our everything. We will always love her and miss her until we are reunited in the afterlife.

We are maintaining this fund in order to offset fanancial burdern.
Thank you for your support.

Angie Gomez is someone special to all of us - a wife, mother, daughter, caretaker and most of all a friend. She has spent most of her life caring for others in one way or another. Our time has come to care for Angie.

Our dear friend, Angie Gomez, was diagnosed with stage IV Ovarian Cancer in November of 2012. She has fought a hard fight undergoing two surgeries and multiple chemotherapy treatments. Unfortunately nothing to date has worked in Team Gomez's attempt at KICKING CANCER'S A**.

The next step is to take a biopsy of the cancer and send it to a specialist at a facility in California where they will try multiple chemotherapy treatments to find the perfect "cocktail" for Angie. This procedure is not free or covered by insurance. With Angie being in/out of the hospital and Casey taking full time care of her, the bills are piling up. Anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated.

GOMEZ, Angela Lynn At 37 years of age Angela Gomez passed away peacefully amongst family in her home on July 16, 2013. She came into this world November 13, 1975 in Hamilton thanks to her parents Albert Rose Jr. (Deceased), and Charlotte Faye Rose (McQueen). She was the Assistant For The Vice President On Premise for G&J Pepsi (Yes, the place that your delicious sugary drinks come from.), and she let everyone know it. After a decade of trying to resist Casey Gomez' goofy, yet groovy charm, they finally married on August 20, 2010. She also leaves behind a loving family and community including Dalton, and Shyann Thomas, Chad, Courtney, and Ryan Rose, Jacob Broering, and beloved pets Loki, Leia, and Luka, along with the many others of her family that she cherished so much. She spent her days in a multitude of ways, but many hours were dedicated to sitting on the edge of her seat trying to finding out why one murders another, and how they almost got away with it through the Investigation Discovery channel. She also loved to garden, spending many a hot Summer nights digging out those dastardly weeds that plagued the front of her yard way too often. Man did she hate those things. But she loved nothing more than spending every waking moment of everyday with her family. She loved taking trips, having pool parties, and just flat out hanging with the people that she loved. But the people she loved had no limit, she was always welcoming to any person that came to her. She had open arms, and never turned away a single being. In fact, she loved family so much that she had a started a weekly "Thursday family night", that will be carried on even in her absence. Most people will beat around the bush when it comes to confrontation, but not her. She was always straight to the point no matter what, she always had a solution for every problem, and the circumstance did not matter. Heck, she even helped people with their problems that she had never met before. She considered all of Lindenwald her family, and she liked it that way. She was never cryptic, in fact her motto was, "I mean what I say, and I say what I mean." This Saturday July 20, 2013 there will be a celebration of Angie's life, preceded by a ceremony headed by Rev. Edwin Beck beginning at 1 P.M. We encourage everyone that's life was touched by her to attend in order to pay their respects with the family. Dress casually, and prepare for a celebration of life. On Saturday, July 27, 2013 there will be a benefit held at Alley's on the River to assist the family in financial needs. The benefit will last from 2 P.M. to 11 P.M. Lastly, in lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to (Guys hate flowers.)
