As a result of a tragic car accident, Amber Wilton has suffered many serious injuries that has left her partly paralyzed from the waist down. Please help us support Amber as she moves forward from this devastating accident with grace. The family has not given up hope and is praying for a miracle for Amber to walk again.
On December 18, 2013, just few days before the Holidays, Amber was involved in a tragic car accident in Yonkers, NY. As result of this accident, Amber has suffered extensive injuries including a badly broken back, five broken ribs, fractured pelvis, dislocated leg, a large puncture wound to her leg and other injuries, fractures, and dislocations. After two major operations and countless other procedures, Amber is still unable to use her legs. She does have sensation in her legs so the family is praying for a miracle.
After her medical procedures Amber was recently transferred from the Jacobi Medical Center to Helen Hayes, a rehabilitation facility in NY where she will have to stay for a few months and not only recover from the physical pain, but also prepare herself mentally for the road ahead. The outdoorsy girl who loved to camp, run, and travel now has to learn a whole new life style. While she is recovering at the rehab center, her friends and family would like to make living arrangements for everything to be ready for when Amber is released from the rehab facility so she is able to adjust to her new life style.
Amber is a kind soul, full of love and laughter, and we know that all of her relatives, friends, coworkers, and former classmates can't wait to see her and support her recovery. She has been through a lot and her challenging road to recovery has just begun. Therefore, to help support her for the many challenges ahead including financially from unexpected expenses. let's RALLY FOR AMBER! Let’s pray for Amber! Let’s support Amber! We can't do it without you!!!
