The Story

Our dear friend Anastasia has had an extremely serious road accident today.

She is intensive care in hospital in Bali and we need to raise money to medi-evacuate her to Singapore this Monday 16th February to have the best treatment at a leading Neurological Hospital to save her life!

She has had a blood clot removed today Friday 13th Feb from her brain and is being kept alive by a ventilator machine, she is in an extremely critical condition.

She has health insurance but there's a low limit and it doesn't include medi-evacuation overseas.  She had not been drinking alchol and was wearing a helmet, she was also a very safe driver.

We only post these photos to show how serious her condition is, we apologise if it causes any offence but please understand why we do this.

Thank you for donating, it is very much appreciated.

Anastasia continues her rehabilitation back home in Krasnoyarsk, Russia.  She is improving with each new day although it’s a slow process, we do not know when it will be concluded as these things can take a long time.  We hope that soon she will recover completely and return to Bali to see her beloved friends doing the things she loves and make her happy.  The insurance claim was severely delayed due to complications, it is still in process and we hope to have news I the next week or so.

Anastasia has also asked me to post this personal message from her to all that have helped her through this very difficult time:

“My angels , even if a human being ...all what you did to me  , showed me how you care , truly what love brings.

I hope no-one will experience any of that like me ... I hope everyone will live a beautiful life with full of love and great future and  NOW ... and feeling good every day.

I’m so grateful HUGE And MASSIVE THANK YOU to everyone, you have done so much to me and still... it’s so important to me!!!”

Anastasia has now travelled to Russia and is now in a Russian hospital close to where her family live.  Her family made the decision to move her home in conjunction with the Bali hospital doctors.

She is stable and progress will be very slow.  She’s having some good days and some bad days, which the doctors say is normal for someone with her injuries.  These good and bad days occurred when she was in the Bali hospitals too so it is a continuation of the same thing.  As long as the overall progress is positive which it is, albeit slowly, then this is good news.   A lot of patience will be required as this could be a long journey for Anastasia on the road to, we all hope, a full recovery.

The swelling on Anastasia’s brain has not fully gone down and is a priority concern.  She is more calm, less agitated in her bed and when she sleeps which is positive.

Regarding the leg fractures which were operated on in Bali.  The Russian hospital have confirmed there is no infection.  This is really good news as it was a concern seeing as there had to be a lengthy delay before the fractures were operated on due to her not being stable and strong enough for the operation.

There is a constant swelling to her foot on the same leg as her fractures and this is being closely monitored.

In the near future, there is a plan to move Anastasia home when the family will allow guests to visit.

Anastasia’s family really appreciate all the continued messages of support.
