Posted on September 2, 2014Friends, Sheila has finished her radiation treatments and has a few weeks off where she can enjoy her family. Soon she will be having iodine treatments ans will have to be isolated. She will spend the time in a hotel room when she is not at the hospital.
Please send good wishes her way as it will be quite difficult for her during that time.

Posted on July 5, 2014Shelia's last surgery went well, and she recently had a CT scan so the Dr.s could see where they were in the removal of the tumor (because it was so large it had to be done over multiple surgeries). All looked good and they felt the next procedure would be the removal of a rib that was cancerous. But that was cancelled as they felt that it might cause more harm then good at that point. So now Sheila is waiting to hear back from the Drs to see what the next step for her will be.
Sheila is extremely grateful to everyone who has helped her through this tough time. Whether you donated, RT'd/shared the post, or gave her words of comfort. She thanks you all. And loves you all!

Posted on May 26, 2014Everyone, wanted to give you all a quick update.
Sheila has had two surgeries so far to remove her tumor. She has a third one scheduled May 29, this Thursday, to try and get the rest of the tumor. It was so large that they couldn't remove it in one surgery. It will take three!
After this next surgery she will have a CAT scan to see if they got it all. Then on to another doctor about her treatment possiblilties.
Sheila has been overwhelmed with everyone's generosity and support, not only with the help on this fund raiser but in emotional support as well.
You all mean the world to her, you are part of her family and she loves you all!
Thank you everyone!
