Hope continues to revover well. Just spoke with the Opthalmologist regarding her eyes. The Left one is healing keeping medications in them every 4 hrs.The blood vessels are moving in to heal them. They will appear blurry and more bloodshot as they heal. Her face is almost completely healed, as well as under her chin.Still treating and wrapping her chest and underside between her legs too!She is eating well oving around going for short walks. Likes the Fresh Air.Updates can also be found on Facebook under HART or Leigh Sockalosky. Thank You for keeping her in your prayers and thoughts. She is a survivor!
We have dropped Blaze from Hope Kary's name as this was name given by the fire marshal and we really don't like the end. We had originally chosen the name Hope and he added the other two. After our team talked we decided to drop the end. That is the reason for the name change. She is a little Princess and recovering well. Thank your for your support and prayers.
I have spoken with one of Hope's Drs. this am Hope is responding well. The Laser Therapy is helping her wounds heal. So, Glad they agreed to use on Hope for her treatment. We have used ourselves and seen the reults.I will be visiting this evening and all weekend.
Have spoken to Hope's Dr. Opthamologist she is being treated with medications specificaly for her injury time will tell. Her eyes did suffer some damage. However she is recieving the best care she can to treat her injuries. She is in great spirits and did well during the exam.Everyone who meets her is amazed at how well she is doing and responding. She has a Big Heart and loves everyone. We are raising our goal as we aren't sure what the final expenses will be with Hope.We could be looking at a year of recovery.Right now as of yesterday we were at 1300.00 per 24hrs with no changes to treatment plan however the more specialists she is seen by and the more treeatments added this all changes. We have her in the best facility at this time for her treatments. We appreciate any and all support and Prayers. Should all donations exceed Hope's treatments which we have only a daily estimate as to what they will be any remaing will be used for the continued rescue of the animals our organization cares for and addresses their medical needs to help them on their path to recovery and finding their forever home.We are told at this time we could be looking at a year of recovery no one really knows right now.She is a survivor and a great teacher as to how us as humans should never give up!
