The Story

In October of 2011, Britton was diagnosed with stage 3b breast cancer, and after 8 rounds of chemo, a mastectomy and reconstruction, she made it through - Praise God!
On June 5, 2014 Britton was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer as it had metasticed to the pleural fluid and lining of the chest wall of her left lung and also to her sternum.
Britton has started taking a hormone therapy drug as prescribed by her oncologist, and would also like to supplement her treatment by seeing an endobiogenist who will be able to offer some naturopathic strategies. She is also starting hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
This youcaring page has been set up to allow us to support Britton and her family as they prepare themselves to fight breast cancer for a second time.  All of the naturopathic treatments are not covered by insurance, and as you can imagine, the medical costs can get very steep very fast. It would also be such a blessing if we could exceed this goal and be able to bless this family with additional funds to help with housekeeping costs and childcare costs, so let's be generous! Any amount will help and would be soooo appreciated by the Neese family. Whether or not you are not able to support them financially, please continue to keep them in prayer!!

Thank you for your generosity and support!

Britton had a scan last week and the results were not what anyone wanted to hear, but she is trusting the Lord and He has given her peace. The cancer has grown on her liver and her stomach "curtain" and her right chest wall lining. Also, because of the cancer in her spine her L2 is fractured ...which is the culprit for the back pain she has been feeling this past month.

She will begin chemo on Monday Oct 2, with a regimen 2 weeks on 1 week off. After a few rounds they will scan again to see if it's working. She will most likely lose her hair.

Please continue to pray for healing, effectiveness of the drugs and strength & peace for Jason & the kids. (Oh, and britton would love to keep her hair;) )

Quick update: Britton is currently on a targeted therapy. She will start radiation for the cancer & pain in her left hip this month. She will continue the targeted therapy for 1 more month in hopes it slows the cancer growth, especially on the liver. She will have a scan at the end of September, and then if the results are not favorable she will begin chemotherapy indefinitely.
Thank you for your prayers & support!

Britton's most recent scan results came back yesterday showing progression of the cancer, which has spread to her small and large intestines as well as increases on her liver. She will get a port inserted this Wednesday, May 10th and start iv chemo the day after, Thursday, May 11th.

I know she covets and appreciates all of your prayers. Thank you for praying!
Please pray for the following:
1. That this chemo drug would be super effective at fighting her cancer.
2. That she won't get sick at all and have no side effects with the chemo.
3. That she won't lose any of her hair.
4. She has had pain in her left side - that it be gone completely and for her to feel great in general.
5. That a clinical trial for which she is eligible will open up.
6. For her family, especially Jason and the kids.

Thank you for all of your prayers and support!!
