Update: Friends, it is with a mix of great joy (for Dawn) and great sadness (for her loved ones) that we update this fundraiser page with the news of Dawn's passing. On Saturday, 8/26/14, Dawn slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus! We are so thankful that she is fully ALIVE in Him! Would you continue to pray for her family during this difficult time, and if you're able, would you give generously here to support any expenses that they have related to medical bills, her memorial and life without her here? We would be so grateful! Please continue to share this fundraising effort with those that you know as well.
From Dawn's Daughter, Danica Clark:
"We spoke and stood on life and life abundant.
When Jesus died on the cross, He died not to make us choose, but to GIVE us a choice.
God gives us a CHOICE. A choice to live life on earth, or a choice to live in heaven.
This afternoon He gave mom that choice.
She CHOSE Him.
We spoke life, and she has it. Abundantly. In Him.
We release her spirit into His love, where she CHOSE to go.
Thank you for your prayers and love, we love you all, our sweet extended family.
Father's sweet sweet peace is upon our spirits.
But our hearts ache for ourselves, not for her.
She is awake and has LIFE in Jesus."
Original Fundraising Description:
For those of you that know Dawn, you know that there are no words that could be typed here that would adequately describe the wonderful woman that she is and what she means to all of us. For those of you who may not know her, we'll do our best to sum it up for you:
Dawn is child of God, a loving wife to Jeffrey, a mother to 7 amazing children, a cherished family member, a treasured friend, a clever business woman, a mighty prayer warrior, a faithful encourager, and someone who is so loved by so many. Her amazing heart and selfless love for people has impacted countless lives. Oh, and you should know that she has the very best sense of humor.
On August 26th, our dear Dawn suffered a massive hemorrhagic stroke which lead to bleeding and swelling in her brain. In the days since, the doctor's have declared that she has little hope for survival, if any, and have asked her family to consider turning off the machines that are providing her with life support.
During this difficult time, we're asking for three things:
1. Would you pray with us? Would you ask God to heal her by His mighty hand? Would you pray for her husband, her children, her loved ones?
2. Would you consider giving financially? Any amount is helpful and no amount is too small. We'd like to come together and bless Dawn's family financially during this time. There will be medical bills, and other expenses, and we just don't want her husband or children to even have to think about those things during this time. Together, with everyone doing something, we can do a lot- so let's be so generous towards our sweet friends!
3. Would you share this with anyone you know? Asking others to join us in prayer and join us in our giving?
Friends, we are so deeply thankful for your support and love of Dawn and her family during this time!
I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God, in Him I will trust. Psalm 91:2
