For all that know Chad, realize what a special soul he really is. He is a husband to Robin, a Daddy to Carter (7) and Reese (3), a son to Terry and Nancy, a brother to Mandy, a friend to many and the list goes on and on. He has touched countless people during his journey through life and the world is a better place for it.
Chad has been fighting since 2009 when he was diagnosed with CLL (Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia). In 2010, the cancer started progressing, so he did his first chemo treatment in October of 2010 at MD Anderson. He followed up with 4 more rounds of chemo and then went into remission. In March of 2013, the cancer transformed into diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma, which is a very aggressive cancer. Since March of 2013, he has had 9 rounds of chemo in Greenville and MD Anderson and needs to have a stem cell transplant. His sister is a perfect match but the cancer must be suppressed more in order for the stem cell to work.
Please help us ensure his family is supported through these troubling times as well as to establish a solid foundation for his children so they can continue the path he and Robin have started.
