The Story

Elisia was diagnosed in September with Lyme disease after seeing an infectious disease Dr. that is also a lyme literate doctor. He took blood tests that were sent to a special lab in California to confirm it.  In the last year she has experienced: extreme fatigue, tingling/numbness, seizure like episodes, chest pains, a high heart rate, oxygen issues, very low blood pressure, fevers, swollen lymph nodes, insomnia, night sweats, burning head pain, disorientation, eyesight issues, sensitivity to light, dizziness, balance issues,  short term memory loss, along with many other problems. After much prayer God led us to an amazing clinic where people come from all over to be cured of lyme disease. Many people travel out of the country to receive treatment at this clinic. Their treatment consists of an aggressive lyme killing protocol that has only a 9% chance of the disease ever relapsing. Not only do they kill the lyme but they repair the damage that the lyme has done to her body. This is KEY for her full health restoration and no future health issues!

It was a true blessing when we found out this clinic was located in Palm Harbor, Florida which is only an hour away from us. The amazing news is the lyme can be killed and treated in as little as 6 weeks at this clinic. After visiting the clinic and spending many hours speaking with them we believe Elisia’s case based on the progression of the lyme disease in her body would take about 10-12 weeks. Unfortunately we also found out that lyme treatment (at this clinic or others) is not covered by insurance. The costs for this treatment are about $4,000.00 a week.  We also need funds to cover a home health aide or someone to be with Elisia around the clock to monitor her when she is receiving treatment. We know this sounds impossible but with God all things are possible and we are asking for your help in 2 ways:

#1:  Please pray and if you feel led please donate $1.00 or more to Elisia’s cure and to help her finally restore her health.

#2:  Please pass this along and ask all your friends and other acquaintances to consider donating $1.00 to Elisia’s cure.  Then ask THEM to pass along the information to their family, friends, and acquaintances.  If we can get 40,000 people to donate $1.00 we will have our goal!

We thank everyone in advancing for helping Elisia cure this terrible disease!

**************************More of her story is told below******************************

About 7 years ago Elisia started having a dramatic decline on her health.  She lost over 30lbs and throughout that time she did every test you could think of including but not limited to: many blood tests, endoscopy, colonoscopy, targeted sonograms, MRI, CT, X-Ray and a full body PET scan. The doctors knew something was going on but did not know what. She became lactose intolerant and gluten sensitive during this period.  She ended up going to a nutritional counselor. Afterwards she decided to change the way she ate. She gained back the 30lbs and her health by going gluten and dairy free.  She had minimal health problems for the next 4 years. The only thing is she could not eat any form of sugar or even fruit or she would get sick.

3 years ago she started having health problems again and her red and white blood cells along with her platelets were low. The doctors could not explain her blood tests. She also started experiencing heavy chest pains and other symptoms. One day she had very bad chest pains with numbness up and down her left arm and trouble breathing. This ended with Elisia being taken by ambulance to the local hospital in Ohio. After a couple of EKG readings that were not clear she went to a cardiologist who ran a battery of tests and said her heart was fine. She still continued to have different episodes with trouble breathing, chest pains, numbness, tingling, pain, and fatigue and also what Elisia would call “electric shocks to her body”. She would also wake up with heavy night sweats where she would have to wake up in the middle of the night and change.

In that year Elisia also went to an allergist, a pulmonologist, and a physical therapist.  Looking for answers we drove over 3 hours multiple times to a well -known hospital called the Cleveland Clinic. She saw a hematologist, neurologist, and rheumatologist.  The rheumatologist said she had fibromyalgia and Elisia would have to either take pain medication or live with the pain. She chose to live with the pain and tried her best to ignore the symptoms.

In January of 2012 Elisia started having worse symptoms that started with extreme fatigue where she would sleep 15 hours a day or more and a day trip out would cause her to be stuck in bed for a week.  Again we tried to get answers and in between all of this Elisia’s weight dropped to an all-time low despite eating regularly. She also had episodes of being “spaced out” and not able to talk or communicate. She was then again brought into ER for seizure like symptoms along with disorientation.  She also lost partial eyesight and went to an eye doctor that said she had a pale optic nerve that was caused by an underlying condition. At this point in time Elisia could not drive for over 4 months.

Since then Elisia has been seeing her regular doctor every other day during the week to do IV drips along with monitoring her health.  She has been having worse chest pains where after running many tests the cardiologist has told her she cannot get her total heart rate above 114 bpm or she would not get enough oxygen to her heart. She has been having extreme fatigue and days where she cannot even prepare her own food.  Elisia has also been experiencing many different pains and very low blood pressure.  As the lyme has gone to her brain this has caused many cognitive issues and makes many days very difficult for her.

Please help Elisia cure this terrible disease!!
