The Story

  • As many of my friends know, I care for many feral/community cat colonies around Cherry Hill and Voorhees. I have Spayed/Neutered/TNR nearly 200 of them, but more cats find my safe haven with 24/7 TLC and lots of food, water, shelter. Along with this TLC comes much needed medical care that finds me at the vet's office daily. Many of these cats have needed emergency care recently and have spent much time recuperating from operations in the animal hospital. I never know when this will occur, and will always take any action needed to help them. This fundraiser is to raise funds for vet care. Up to this point I've had the pleasure of providing all the financial care they need, but the need is growing. Friends have suggested I start this page and, after careful consideration, I've agreed.

I am sad that shelters are full, and therefore I am acting in the only way I know. I'm taking care of the little furballs myself, even bringing EIGHT of them inside (Pickles, Chaya, Hope and Baby Gray, Mayim, Aliyah, Deuteronomy and Izzy) -- and they are now sweet indoor cats. :-) As folks around the area have heard I care for cats, they've also contacted me to help with their colonies or single outdoor cats. All this has been my honor and pleasure. Many have been trapped and fostered. All proceeds donated will go directly to help pay vet bills. In the fall of 2015 my charity became an official 501(c)(3) non-profit, under the name Cantor Scott's ARC (animal rescue center).

  • Once again, thank you for suggesting this site. I know from your warm comments that your hearts and minds share the need to take care of these wonderful friends, too.

    B'shalom, Scott
