In memory of sweet little boy Mathusshan Thevathasan who passed away at the age 6 after being stuck by an SUV across from school, we are raising funds to improve kids safety in school zone and residential areas.
Mathusshan was a loving Son to a wonderful parents Thayaparan Thevathasan and Suthanthiny Thevathasan. Mathusshan was born on March 17, 2011.
Mathusshan was a complete bundle of joy filled their home with all the happiness!! From being a baby, he has always been very energetic and playful. In his preschool days he went to the Montessori where he was loved by all his friends and teachers.
On turning 4 years old, he joined his kinder garden days at Charlotte Town Public School near Port Union and Lawrence road where he was one of the most popular kid in his class and in his school. He was very proficient in his school work and was very active in sports. He loved playing soccer ⚽️ and scored at least 1 goal in every game he played in the summer of 2016!!
Mathusshan in January of 2017 moved to Morrish Pubic School where he continued his Sr. Kinder garden. His popularity grew further where his teachers had praises and positive notes all throughout his wonderful days. His weekends were all filled with activities from being part of the Tamil School, Soccer Club, Swimming and evenings either with his extended family and friends.
Mathusshan was very passionate about going to school and his love for cars 🚗 grew with him as days and years went by. He was never late to school for a single day and was awarded for that from his school. His knowledge of cars would get anybody spell bound when he utters the name of all the cars in the world!
He spent his after school hours with his grandma, aunt, uncle and his closest cousin until his parents would pick him up in the evening. His Dad was his role model but he could never go to bed without his Mummy beside him. He became a big brother when his younger brother Mithilan was born in 2016.
It was a happy family until God decided to take him in his arms on the evening of April 21, 2017 in his school area where his parents like many others thought was a safe place.
Mathusshan can never be replaced in our lives and will continue to live in our hearts and memories for a lifetime. Wish his soul rest in peace.
In memory of Mathusshan, we have created a fund which intends to help contribute towards school zone safety and kids welfare.
