The March for Science champions robustly funded and publicly communicated science as a pillar of human freedom and prosperity. We unite as a diverse, nonpartisan group to call for science that upholds the common good and for political leaders and policy makers to enact evidence-based policies in the public interest.
The March for Science Livermore will be holding a sister march to the national March for Science in DC. All money will go directly to paying for facility fee's, insurance, water for participants and other event expenses.
The event will begin at Livermore High School with a Rally with speeches from local science and tech innovators, continue with a one-mile march looping back to the high school, ending with an interactive science fair with hands-on activities for science lovers of all ages.
Any donation large or small is greatly appreciated. March for Science Livermore is comprised of a small group of community organizers. We do not have a 501c3 status, therefore donations are NOT tax deductible.
