On Saturday 6th May, 2017, in Grantown, 8 intrepid (or, depending upon how you look at it, utterly insane)You adventurers, collectively known as The Weeping Angels, will tackle the most dangerous (not really), challenging (probably) and muddy (certainly) 5km obstacle course ever devised (well, ever devised in Grantown on that day, at least).
Judith McCulley, Kieran McCulley, Callum McCulley, Erin McCulley, Janet May, Ted May, Sandy May, and Keith Blakemore-Noble are doing this to raise much needed funds for Macmillan to help with their essential work in supporting those living with cancer and those close to them.
Please spare a few quid to help make The Weeping Angels' sacrifice worthwhile, and to provide some much-needed help to those in greatest need.
One in three of us will get cancer!!
Two million of us are living with it and the number is rising. The money raised will help Macmillan to provide the expert care and practical support to those living with cancer AND those close to them.
YOU CAN HELP SAVE LIVES
- £15 could pay for 32 copies of The Cancer Guide.
- £100 could pay for a Macmillan Nurse for 4 hours.
- £951 could pay for a Macmillan nurse for a week.
- £1474 could operate their phone service for 2 hours. Enough time to answer 54 calls and emails from people who need emotional, practical or financial support.
