Last year The Macan family was promised a pool from a non profit agency. Unfortunately, the person in charge of that non profit went back on their word and the pool Bo was excited about, dreamed of and had personally picked out was no longer a reality. Bo and his family were devastated. This is unacceptable. Bo is unable to go to public pools because his immune system won’t allow for it with all the germs. For those of you that don’t know, Bo is a 7-year-old boy who has a genetic condition so rare it is named after him. He spends 75% of his time in the hospital. Bo has three siblings, a twin sister Brooklyn (7), Leksi (15) and Johnny (13). Swimming is one of the few activities they can all do together as a family. One of Bo’s symptoms is rheumatoid arthritis, which can be crippling for him. Swimming is one of the few activities that Bo can do without pain. It’s great exercise for him as he spends so much of his time in bed. If you are willing, please consider donating to this page to help them build their pool for their family. All proceeds will go to the Macan family.
