Please help the Eubanks family pay medical expenses for their beloved 9 year old son, Luke.
Update 1/5/17: Thank you all for your generous support and love for the the Eubanks family during this time.
Here is an update from the Eubanks family:
Luke has gone to be with the Lord. He had a good fight but the damage to the brain was just too great. We thank everyone for their prayers during this and the time to come! We love you all! If you have a child at SCE, our church (Houston's First Baptist) will be helping with grief counseling and support.
Luke's liver, kidneys, and heart valves were placed with recipients. Thank you Lord that other people can live their life now through Luke! ❤
On December 26, 2016, Luke woke up with a severe headache and within 15 minutes of being awake, he passed out. He was rushed to the ER and a cat scan revealed that there was bleeding around his brain.
Luke was at a hospital in Houston, Texas and it was discovered that Luke had an Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM), or abnormal, “weakened” blood vessels that direct blood away from normal brain tissue, which he was likely born with. Luke had tubes put into his skull to drain the fluid off his brain and was later rushed into emergency surgery when more bleeding was discovered. The damage to Luke's brain was too great and he went to be with his Lord and Savior.
The Eubanks family are active members of Houston's First Baptist Church - Sienna campus, a part of the Sienna Crossing Elementary School community, involved in Cub Scouts, enjoy the outdoors, spending time with family at the lake, and they love serving the Lord!
Please continue to pray for Luke's family and friends during this difficult time. If you feel led, please donate to help the Eubanks family with medical expenses. No donation is too little.
Many thanks for your continued prayers and support! May the Lord's peace be with you all.
