The Story

Border Network for Human Rights (BNHR) is a community-based non-profit organization that has worked in El Paso, Texas and Southern New Mexico since 1998. Our mission is to facilitate the education, organization, and participation or marginalized border communities in the defense and promotion of their Human and Constitutional Rights. Your help will let us keep working for our most vulnerable communities: advancing oversight and accountability of institutions like DPS, ICE, and Border Patrol, fighting for a clean and fair future for our Dreamers and their families that does not separate them from each other, and organizing people to be part of forming solutions that improve their quality of life.

Here is how to donate:

Click on the "Donate button
You can choose a "tip" percentage or amount to be deducted from your donation, that will go to the third party organization.
If you would like to donate the whole amount to BNHR, follow this steps:
On the "Tip" section, you can choose "other?quot; and then click the amount field to change it to "0"  that way 100% of your donation goes to BNHR.
There is no words that can express our gratitude for all of your help; you give us the strength and courage to keep working, and fighting for our communities and their Civil, Constitutional , and Human Rights. keep on visiting our website to be informed of the recent changes, and decisions made for our government in regards of immigration and what our actions are to fight all this inhumane and cruel torture towards our immigrant communities.

Thank you all.

let's keep fighting, all together, this fight is just getting started.
check these links so you see the real face of family separation.
spread the word!! There's a lot of work to be done!!

A lot of people say that the parents of these children are to be blamed because they put their lives in jeopardy, well, let me share a couple of videos that will prove them wrong. these videos show the reality of immigrant's lives in their home country, where they are victims of violence, kidnapping, hunger, robberies, etc. Drug dealers violently recruit kids as hit mans, as "soldiers", as distributors, they kill the parents if they refuse to let the kid go with them. (Mexico)
some other video show people looking for food in the garbage, in the trash cans, not because they are homeless, but because the government will not provide food for the people. (Venezuela)
people have no jobs, no food, no health, and on top of that they need to protect their children from the drug dealers, gangs, even the army. so all these people do not come to America just for fun, or to prove their luck, they are literally RUNNING AWAY FOR THEIR LIVES!! and we just can not look the other way when our government treat them cruelty and even blame them for crossing illegally. would not all of us do the same if we were in those conditions?

please share the word and keep your support so we can keep fighting for these families.

thank you
