I have a strong passion for supporting women in leadership and I would love to have a chance to earn this certificate. This five-course certificate program examines the issues facing women in leadership positions and offers strategies for handling them. It aims to position women who are in leadership positions to recognize when there is a gender dimension at work and how they can outstrategize gender bias and their own habits to achieve better results.
I'm entering my senior year in my Organizational Leadership and Technical Management Program. Since I returned to school in 2015, I have earned my ATA in Business Management with a Supervisory Skills and Human Resource Management Certificate. I've maintained a GPA that allowed me to graduate with honors and am on the path to doing so again in my bachelors program.
I am a volunteer for WSHRMA, a local chapter of SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management), as their Communications Director. I work full time as a marketing coordinator for a mortgage company. I also volunteer for Silverdale Chamber of Commerce events and just became a member of Poulsbo Chamber of Commerce. I want to be a part of my community and try to give in ways that matter to people.
Any help towards this goal would be appreciated.
