As many of you know, and perhaps many don’t, Aaron had a very extreme form of leukemia in in 2006 through 2007, that had him in and out of the UCLA hospital for over a year. He received a stem cell transplant that saved his life, and allowed him to continue to be a husband to Natalie and a father to their two children.
They were living with Ken and Anne - Aaron’s parents - because of the enormous medical bill debt they are still handling. Yes, it is the end of 2015, and are are still in debt for the cost of his life.
I recently found out about this, and am upping the fundraising goal. When I started this fundraiser, I had no idea of the scope of the situation. I saw the house I spent a lot of time my whole life going up in flames, and wanted to help immediately. Beyond helping with the ins and outs of setting up a new Boulderhaven from the ruins of Smolderhaven, this money will help Aaron and Natalie be able to have some breathing room while finding a place to rent and keeping up on the medical bill payments.
Everyone in the Boydston family, and everyone who loves them, is very thankful for all the support.
