We pay approximately $11.5 billion per year in direct costs to control litter. These costs include cleanup and prevention programs which are covered largely by businesses and taxpayers.
Let's face facts: We can't keep North Dakota clean on promises. It requires the hard work of people who care about the economy and beauty of their community - people like YOU!
In 1968, KNDC (Keep North Dakota Clean) Inc. was formed to ensure a continuous statewide program of education for beautification of the state and the proper disposal of litter. KNDC believes education is the keep to any successful program. When people are informed, they are more apt to think before they throw.
Please help us raise money for an anti-littering billboard campaign! Funds raised will go towards billboards that will be placed on Interstates 29 and 94, and Highways 2, 83 and 85, all across North Dakota.
