Posted on April 25, 2018As most of you know, my beautiful sister passed away two weeks ago. I promised her before she died that I would make sure her kids were ok. I am now doing my best to honor that promise. I have created a new fund for the 4 young children she leaves behind. All money raised will go into trust funds for them to help ensure their future. Please consider donating if you are able and please share the fund as every share counts. Thank you all so much for your love and support. It means everything. XO

Posted on January 12, 2018For those of you following my sister’s story and who have given to this fund and shown us so much love and support, I want to say thank you with all my heart. Last April, Julie Elizabeth was accepted into a medical trial where they placed a pump that delivered chemo directly into her liver (which is the organ affected most by her cancer). The pump functioned as it should have and for several months, along with the systemic chemo she received through her port, she felt much better and we thought perhaps she was on her way to recovery. Unfortunately the pump stopped working and as of last month, she is now back on regular chemo and cannabis. Her fight just got that much harder and her body has been through trauma I can’t begin to explain. Obviously, she is unable to return to work and yet still has 4 children to provide for. Please consider donating if you can. Every bit helps. Thank you a million times over. Thank you.

Posted on May 19, 2017Last month, Julie Elizabeth had surgery where they installed a pump that gives chemo directly to her liver. This surgery was 10 hours long and there were several complications, but she is now recovering and I'm thrilled to say that the pump works and while the cancer has grown a bit - it's being treated with the pump. In two weeks she will also start to get full body chemo to combat more of the cancer.
Unfortunately all of this has taken a huge toll on her physically, emotionally, and financially. So while she is doing far better than anyone ever expected (yay!), she still has so much to fight. Every time she gets chemo put into the pump or receives the full body dose, she needs to travel 4 hours round trip. She is still unable to work, as is her fiancé (he proposed to her over Christmas!) since he is caring for her, their infant son, and assisting with her other three children. Because of this, they recently lost their housing and had to move to a small 3 bedroom condo. They are a family of 6. They are I desperate need of help. Every little bit helps. Every share helps.
Thank you so much. I can't tell you how much all the help we have received means to us, or how inspriring my sister is. She's a true warrior. Please help me help her continue her war.
