Jenn's husband, Marcus wrote on Facebook: "This is what I received today in the mail. We were trying to get insurance before the open enrollment ended but the website and the people who work at Washington health plan finder are incapable of fixing applications in progress or any troubleshooting really, so it ended up past open enrollment and now like a light switch, have us shut off from purchasing health care. We have two appeals and this is our first letter. Stage 4 cancer, in the eyes of the government, isn’t a life changing event. They haven’t even addressed their staff slipping us passed closed enrollment. Just want everyone to understand what is going on and the health care issue."
