HERE IS JACKSON'S STORY IN HIS OWN WORDS:
Hi I'm Jackson, I am 10 years old and I have AML leukemia.
I was in remission almost two and a half years. I am very sad to let you know my leukemia has returned. I was first diagnosed on December 2013. I was in the hospital for months getting treatment. I went into remission in May 2014. That made me very happy because I could go home and spend time with my family and enjoy the normal things kids do.
I like sports, video games, wrestlers, and super heroes. My favorite sport is football. My favorite football teams are the Patriots and the Giants. When I grow up I want to be an NFL master. My favorite wrestler is John Cena. I like him the most because he always fights fair and never gives up. My favorite superheroes are Captain America and Optimus Prime. I love superheroes because they use their special powers to help other people.
My favorite thing to do in the whole world is playing sports and video games with my brother CJ. I love my family and my God. I love my school. I am in drama club and band. I am a member of the student council and I am the student ambassador for my class.
I have to be in the hospital again for the next few months. The thing that upsets me the most is that I can't be home with my family. I have to get chemo again and a bone marrow transplant. Please pray for me that my cancer will go away and that they will find a bone marrow match for me.
