Jack Jacinto, a ten year old boy who lives down the road from the house I grew up in, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in May. For those of you that don't know Jack, he is lives in Hampton Township and goes to McKeown Elementary School. He had to leave his school, friends, and baseball team to begin treatment right away at Morristown Hospital. Jack continues to battle this cancer and is one of the most courageous boys I have ever known! In between treatments, Jack enjoys being with his sister Lily, seeing some baseball games, and getting to see his friends.
On my daily runs before Jack's diagnosis, I would often see him and his sister Lily playing outside or riding their bikes. To help support Jack, I am going to be running the Wineglass Marathon October 1st in Corning, NY. Please sponsor my run and donate to help Jack beat cancer. All donations will go straight to Jack and his family.
