The Foundation is a physician-based organization whose primary purpose is to raise money and awareness for various diseases through representations of physicians’ personal art talents to the local community. Physicians are bound together thru art and the mission to treat the patient as a whole, rather than just their niche within the field. In this vein, the Foundation will host community events at which various physicians, representing various fields of medicine, will have the opportunity to display their specific art talents, to interact with the local community, and to raise money for a specific medical cause. Through these events, the Foundation desires to create shared experiences in which physicians and the community empower each other to make lives healthier, that bridge the medical community and the local community and deepen the connections between doctors, patients and the community.
