Help Fund the Hacienda de Guru Ram Das Ashram - Langar Garden
The aim is to grow fresh organic produce to feed the community through the Ashram's langar program. Langar
is the term used in Sikhism for the community kitchen in a Gurdwara where a free meal is served to all the visitors, without distinction of religion, caste, gender, economic status or ethnicity. The free meal is always vegetarian.
This fundraiser is to fund the Garden Program so it may run continuously lead by an experienced lead gardener for the next 12 Months. All donations will be matched up to $3000!

- Fertilizing / Spreading Organic Matter - Enriching the Soil
- Clearing and Planting in the Greenhouses
- March & April Initial Outdoor Planting - June / July ready to harvest
The Lead Gardener has experience working on farms since childhood. Her goals are to have the garden producing by June / July and available for Langar. She also has extensive experience growing flowers and plans to grow an extensive variety for the Gurdwara
