Did you know that hereditary hemochromatosis is the most common genetic disorder in the United States? Did you know that a simple blood test can screen for the possibility of hemochromatosis? Did you know that early detection could save your life?
The Hemochromatosis Rural Awareness Campaign is an effort to bring awareness of the disease to rural areas of the United States. The Hemochromatosis Information Society is raising money to cover the cost of printing and mailing postcards and posters to rural doctors’ offices, hospitals, and clinics.
July is hemochromatosis awareness month, please help us in our efforts to raise awareness and save lives. Please give a donation to help cover our costs.
